"I love you even when you're Crabby"

Michelle and Bob met back in 1993 while living in Salmon Arm.  Both played volleyball with friends and were active in youth activities.  The photo above is one of the first photos of the couple, and on this day Michelle was taking pictures of Bob for his campaign running for City Council.  Bob even cut his hair and bought a tie for the occasion.

Both Bob and Michelle went on to Okanagan University College and were very active in the Student Union, with both of them holding various portfolios such as President and Vice-President.  

In 1995, Michelle and Bob traveled to South Africa for 6 weeks, visiting friends and touring the country.  They were able to see many wild animals such as Elephants, Giraffes, Warthogs and Baboons.  The people in South Africa were wonderful, and Bob and Michelle plan to visit South Africa for 8 weeks for their honeymoon.  They also participated in the Standard Bank National Arts Festival, one of the largest festivals in the world located in Grahamstown.

In 1998, Michelle and Bob hiked the West Coast Trail, climbed many ladders and ate great food.  It was a wonderful experience, although very difficult.

On April 1^st, 1999 while traveling to Salmon Arm, Bob proposed to Michelle aboard the Ferry crossing over to Vancouver.  

Although Michelle and Bob have known each other for 7 years, and have been living together for 5, their love for each other grows stronger every day.  :)
